1st is the hardest!

I’m little bit shaky today because this is my 1st time working on a real life industry. But it’s all going smoothly and under control. The 1st day happens very fast. I cannot imagine how my 10weeks will be done after this.

For the 1st time I walk into the KLCC. Level 26 Tower 1, which is the PCSB development division and it, will be my first step towards my huge potential future. How can I go through this all alone??

After my report for duty accomplish, I was required to go to my project site, Oilfab Pulau Indah. The hell is heaven. The fabrication yard is so big and it amazes me a lot. But the thing that amazes me the most is, when I come to the office, I can see the whole PCSB staff is just like a happy family. They are happy with their work, and they happy with the surrounding although living at a desert. As I said before, they’re just like sisters and brothers to me. Hopefully after this I can communicate smoothly with them.

“ASK!ASK!ASK! Don’t afraid or shame to ask.” The 1st word comes from every staff in that building, because the life is full with learning process. If we doesn’t ask, then we wouldn’t learn anything.

The first objective for the 1st day is…making network! I’m lucky because the CSR En Hamdan A.K.A my supervisor is very friendly. He gives me a great brief for my industrial training plus with an additional ‘supplement’. Hopefully I can finish that book. Before that I was introduce to Kak Lily. We are left behind by the team for the lifting session. I’ve used the time to gather some important information and asking about how this project goes around. And then a meet all the staff such as kak haryani, abg shahrul, abg jamil and en baharin.

The 1st task given from en hamdan is go meet kak haryani and gather as many data and information about the project. Kak Haryani is the Structural Engineer for the project and I very thankful because kak haryani is friendly like en hamdan ( I think all the staff is friendly). Kak haryani gives me the slide presentation for the kumang and tangga batu that are very important to me to study. And last part of the day is short brief from the welding instructor abg shahrul.

Tomorrow I need to come early for my safety briefing. The most important thing is…after I attend this briefing, I can go inside the yard!

Fabrication Yard! Here I come!! =)
